The purpose of the Healthy Start Program is to educate, provide emotional support and refer our expectant mothers to community services. A healthy start worker is a "caring" type person who visits and supports pregnant women and teenage girls during their pregnancy and after the birth of their baby.

Shondra Kostner is our Healthy Start Worker. She will be pleased to visit with you before and after your baby is born. She has educational books and videos that are helpful for new parents. This service is free so please contact Shondra if you are pregnant or would like a visit for you and your baby.

The Children

They laugh with excitement
They cry with sadness
They play with enjoyment
They need a loving touch.

They see what we show them
They learn what we teach them.

We are their leaders.

They need us to hold them,
They need us to console them
They need us to praise them
THEY JUST NEED US TO RAISE THEM
